Financial Assistance

  1. Application: Complete the "Application for Graduate Assistantships" and return with departmental forms.
  2. Letter of Recommendation: Submit a third (3rd) letter of recommendation from a person who knows you professionally on company printed letterhead and return with departmental forms.
  3. Stipends for Graduate Students: To be considered for financial assistance, a student must be admitted to a degree program.

Deadlines

Admissions Deadlines

The application deadlines are:

  • Fall semester - December 31
  • Spring semester - August 31

All application materials, including Statement of Purpose, transcripts and letters of recommendation must be received by these dates, not post-marked, to be considered for admission.

There are three steps to the application process:

1. Complete the Division of Graduate Studies on-line application via the internet at http://graduate.asu.edu/admissions/index.html and submit the application fee.

Postdoctoral Fellowships

The Harrington Department of Bioengineering has 20 tenure-track or tenured professors, each of which is periodically looking for qualified post-doctoral candidates. While no formal positions are open at this time, please contact individual faculty members for post-doctoral opportunities.

Prospective Students

Admission Information

A student who has earned a Bachelor's degree or a graduate degree from an accredited college or university is eligible to apply for admissions to the Division of Graduate Studies. All decisions on admission are made without regard to race, sex, creed or ethnic origin. The University is an equal opportunity employer and encourages applications from females and minority groups. The Division of Graduate Studies should receive the application and application fee.

Graduate Studies

The Harrington Department of Bioengineering offers an M.S. and a Ph.D  degree.
